A Third of the Way

As of Friday, I will have completed my first quarter at Medill. In addition to my reporting requirements, I also took a class called Interactive Producing.

It was an in-depth look at HTML, CSS and how to implement those skills to create a final product.

Our final project requirement was to make a website using HTML, CSS, PHP but was built in WordPress that reflected something that interested us. My site was based around finding things to do in Chicago as a young person, since that is also something I try to do while I am not in school.

Chicago Discoveries

An Update

As of this Saturday, I will officially be an alum of the University of Missouri. I will have my degree in magazine journalism with honers and a minor in business.

This September, I will be attending Northwestern University for graduate school. My concentration is interactive publishing and I am set to complete my degree in June 2013.
